How To Connect Nostr To SoMePoster

Nostr is a decentralized, censorship-resistant social protocol, and SoMePoster allows you to connect, post and plan your content to Nostr. Since Nostr doesn’t use a central authority or traditional login, you will need to generate a cryptographic keypair (your nsec/npub) before getting started.

Go to Nstart.me

Go to nstart.me/en and click Let's Start to begin creating your Nostr profile.

Step 1: Welcome to Nostr, click Let's Start

Enter Details

Enter your name (or nickname), then click Continue.

Step 2: Present Yourself, enter your name

Save Your Nsec Key

Click Save my nsec to download your private key file. Then open the downloaded text file and copy the nsec... key.

Step 3a: Your Keys Are Ready, click Save my nsec

Step 3b: Open the downloaded text file and copy the nsec key

Click Connect on Nostr

In SomePoster, go to Accounts Connectivity and click Connect on the Nostr card.

Save & Connect

Paste your private key (nsec...) into the field, optionally add custom relays, then click Save & Connect. Your Nostr account is now connected to SomePoster!

Step 5: Save and Connect modal with Private Key field

Important: Your nsec key is your private key — keep it absolutely secret and never share it with anyone. Store it somewhere safe, like a password manager.
