Open Shopify Dashboard & Go to Settings

Open your Shopify dashboard and click the Settings tab in the sidebar.

Go to Apps & Click Develop Apps

In Settings, navigate to Apps and click Develop Apps.

Click Build Apps on Dev Dashboard

Click Build apps in Dev Dashboard to open the app development environment.

Create a New App

In the Dev Dashboard, click Create app.

Name Your App & Click Create

Enter an app name (e.g. "someposter") and click Create.

Click Select Scopes

In the app configuration page, scroll to the Access section and click Select scopes.

Select read_content & write_content, Then Click Done

Search for content, then check both read_content and write_content scopes. Click Done.

Click Release

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Release.

Confirm Release

A confirmation popup will appear — click Release again to confirm.

Install the App on Your Store

Click the app name in the sidebar, then click Install app and select your store.

Copy Client ID & Secret Key

Go back to the Dev Dashboard tab, click Settings and copy your Client ID and Secret Key.

Connect Shopify in SoMePoster

In SoMePoster, go to Accounts Connectivity and click Connect on the Shopify card.

Paste Credentials & Save

Paste your Client ID, Client Secret, and your Shopify store URL in the domain field. Click Save & Connect. Your Shopify store is now connected!
