Slack is a widely used team communication platform, and SoMePoster allows you to connect, post and plan your content directly to your Slack channels. Since Slack uses a workspace-based login, you will need to have access to the workspace you want to post to before getting started.

Click Connect on Slack

In SomePoster, go to Accounts Connectivity and click Connect on the Slack card.

Sign In & Allow Access

Sign in to the Slack workspace you want to connect (if you're not already logged in), then click Allow to grant SomePoster access.

Choose Your Channels

You'll be redirected to a Choose Slack channels screen — select the channel(s) you want to post to, then click Add channels. You'll be returned to the SomePoster dashboard and your Slack account is connected successfully!

Step 3: Choose Slack channels to post to

Public channels work right away — no extra setup needed.

Private channels require you to invite the app first: open that channel in Slack and type /invite @SomePoster so it has permission to post there.
