WordPress self-hosted is the fully flexible version of WordPress, where you run the platform on your own server and have complete control over your site. SoMePoster allows you to connect, post and schedule your content to your self-hosted WordPress site alongside all your other platforms.

Click Connect on WordPress (Self-Hosted)

In SoMePoster, go to Settings → Accounts Connectivity and click the Connect button next to WordPress (Self-hosted).

Open WP Admin & Go to Profile

Open your WordPress site's admin panel (wp-admin). Navigate to Users → Profile and scroll down to the Application Passwords section.

Create an Application Password

In the Application Passwords section, enter a name (e.g. "SoMePoster") and click Add New Application Password. Copy the generated password and paste it into the Application Password field in the SoMePoster connection popup.

Copy Your Username

Copy your WordPress username (visible at the top of the Profile page) and paste it into the Username field in the SoMePoster connection popup.

Copy Site URL & Connect

Go to Settings → General in your WordPress admin. Copy the Site Address (URL) and paste it into the Site URL field in the SoMePoster popup. Click Save & Connect.
