SoMePoster can publish video directly to a Facebook Page through the Create Video Post tool, complete with a title and description. This tutorial covers selecting your Page, uploading the video, and publishing or scheduling the post.
Go to Create Video Post
Open SoMePoster and click Create Video Post from the left menu.
Select Facebook
At the top of the Create Video Post page, select Facebook as one of the platforms.
Select the Correct Facebook Page
Choose the Facebook Page you want to publish the video to.
Upload Your Video
Click the video upload area and select a video from your computer. Wait until the upload reaches 100%.
Add a Title
Enter the video title. If the first line of your caption is the same as the title, SoMePoster avoids adding it twice.
Write Your Video Caption
Write the Facebook video description in the editor. You can add text, hashtags, and links.
Optional: Edit Content Per Platform
If you are posting to multiple platforms, turn on Edit content per platform and write a Facebook-specific caption.
Choose Post Now or Schedule
Post Now publishes immediately. Schedule lets you choose a future date and time.
Publish the Video
Click Publish or Queue. SoMePoster will upload the video to Facebook and publish it on the selected Page.
Check the Result in My Posts
Go to My Posts to see the Facebook delivery status.
Statuses may include:
- Published
- Processing
- Failed
- Scheduled
Facebook video uploads can take time to process. If the video is published, SoMePoster will show the final Facebook post URL when Facebook returns it.
