SoMePoster can publish video straight to an Instagram professional account through the Create Video Post tool. Make sure your Instagram account is already connected in SoMePoster and that you're using a supported video file before you start.
Go to Create Video Post
Open SoMePoster and click Create Video Post from the left menu.
Select Instagram
At the top of the Create Video Post page, select Instagram as one of the platforms.
Select the Correct Instagram Account
Choose the Instagram account you want to publish the video to.
Upload Your Video
Click the video upload area and select a video from your computer. Wait until the upload reaches 100%.
Write Your Video Caption
Write your Instagram caption in the editor. You can add text, hashtags, mentions, and links.
Optional: Edit Content Per Platform
If you are posting to multiple platforms, turn on Edit content per platform and write an Instagram-specific caption.
Choose Post Now or Schedule, Then Publish
Post Now publishes immediately. Schedule lets you choose a future date and time. When you're ready, click Publish or Queue. SoMePoster will upload and publish the video to the selected Instagram account.
Check the Result in My Posts
Go to My Posts to see the Instagram delivery status.
Statuses may include:
- Published
- Processing
- Failed
- Scheduled
Instagram can take time to process the video. If the video is published, SoMePoster will show the final Instagram post URL when Instagram returns it.
