SoMePoster can publish videos straight to TikTok through the Create Video Post tool. Make sure your TikTok account is already connected in SoMePoster and that you're using a supported video file before you start — SoMePoster will flag anything that's missing or unsupported.
Go to Create Video Post
Open SoMePoster and click Create Video Post from the left menu.
Select TikTok
At the top of the Create Video Post page, select TikTok as one of the platforms.
Select the Correct TikTok Account
After selecting TikTok, choose the TikTok account you want to post to. If you have more than one TikTok account connected, make sure you select the correct one.
Upload Your Video
Click the video upload area and select a video from your computer. Wait until the upload is complete before publishing.
Write Your Video Content
Write your TikTok caption in the editor. You can add text, hashtags, mentions, and links if needed. The first line may be used as a title where a title is required, but for TikTok the main content is the caption.
Set the Privacy Status
Select the TikTok privacy option for the video. The available options depend on your TikTok account and may include Public, Friends, or Only me. Choose the option you want before posting.
Configure Interaction Settings
Set the TikTok interaction options for the video. Depending on your account, you may see options like Allow comments, Allow duet, and Allow stitch. Turn these on or off based on how you want people to interact with the video.
Optional: Commercial Content Settings
If the video includes commercial or branded content, enable the commercial content option, then choose whether it's Your brand, Branded content, or both. Only enable this if it applies to the video.
Optional: AI-Generated Content Setting
If the video contains AI-generated content, enable the AI-generated content option. If it doesn't, leave this option off.
Confirm TikTok's Posting Requirements
TikTok may require a confirmation before publishing. Check the required confirmation box to continue.
Publish the Post
When everything is ready, click Publish or Queue. SoMePoster will upload and publish the TikTok video.
Check the Result in My Posts
After posting, go to My Posts to see the TikTok post status.
Statuses may include:
- Published
- Processing
- Failed
TikTok can take a little time to process the video. If the post is published, SoMePoster will show the final TikTok post URL. If it fails, SoMePoster shows the reason beside the platform — common causes include missing permissions, account connection issues, an unsupported video, missing TikTok options, or a TikTok processing delay — so you can fix the issue and publish again.
